The "Pizzocolo" apartment offers a generous 46 m² total experience. With 42 m² of living space—distributed across a bright living-dining area, a cozy bedroom, a modern bathroom, and an inviting hallway—you will find ample room to relax and unwind. Your absolute highlight is the 3.85 m² private panoramic balcony, which serves as your personal "front-row seat" with a breathtaking view of the lake.

Useful Information for Your Stay

• Arrival & Departure: Your apartment will be ready for you from 3:00 PM on the day of your arrival. On your departure day, we kindly ask that you check out by 10:00 AM so we can prepare the space for our next guests.
• Stress-Free Stay: Bed linen and towels are fully included. To help you settle in, we provide a basic starter kit in the kitchen and bathroom (toilet paper, dish soap, kitchen towel, as well as salt and pepper).
• Local Tourist Tax: Please note that the local tourist tax (tassa di soggiorno) for the municipality of Toscolano Maderno is not included in the booking price. This fee of 1.00 € per person/night (children under 14 are exempt) will be collected locally at check-in.
  

 Getting Around Sanico & The Surrounding Area

Sanico is tucked away on a sunny plateau, sitting about 300 meters (approx. 1,000 ft) above the lake. To help you make the most of your time here, here’s a quick guide to getting around:

The Car – Ultimate Freedom: We highly recommend arriving by car or renting one. It gives you the flexibility to hit the supermarkets in Toscolano Maderno (about a 10-minute drive) or head out on day trips to nearby spots like Salò or Limone.

On Foot – For Explorers: You can start some fantastic hikes right from our front door. You can walk down to the center of Toscolano Maderno in about 30–40 minutes. Just a heads-up: The hike back up is quite the workout, so it’s best if you have a decent level of fitness.

E-Bikes – Our Top Tip: Sanico is an absolute paradise for e-bikers. With pedal assist, the elevation gain from the lake becomes a breeze, letting you cruise the panoramic roads without breaking a sweat.

Bus Connections:

Regional (Arriva Italia – Line LN027 / 202): Toscolano Maderno is well-connected to the regional bus network.

Pro-tip: Buy your tickets digitally through the Arriva MyPay App. It’s cheaper and much easier than paying a surcharge to the driver on the bus. You can also pick up tickets at local Tabacchi shops. Check the Brescia Timetables on the official Arriva website for the latest schedules. 

Local (Caldana): There is a local bus line that connects Sanico to the town center. It’s a charming, stress-free way to get around, but it only runs a few times a day, so it’s worth checking the schedule ahead of time.

 Taxi Service: If you’d prefer to leave the car behind for an evening out, you can call the local taxi service: Taxi Garda Car: +39 328 484 3787 or +39 328 484 3778 (available 24/7). Tip: Especially on weekends or busy evenings, it’s a good idea to book your ride in advance.

Out on the Water:

Car Ferry (Traghetto): Taking the ferry from Maderno to Torri del Benaco is a great, traffic-free shortcut to the eastern shore (e.g., for a trip to Verona) and feels like a scenic mini-cruise. You can find schedules and rates on the Navigazione Laghi website.

Passenger Boats: You can reach almost any major town around the lake via the regional ferry network from the Maderno harbor. One-way and day passes are available—check Navigazione Laghi – Fares for details.

Boat Rental (Noleggio Barche): Want to captain your own ship? In Italy, you can rent motorboats up to 40 HP without a license! Local rental spots like Ora Boats (oraboats.com) and Scoamar (scoamar.it) are located right on the promenade.

Tip: During peak season, be sure to book your boat a few days in advance.

The "Trenino" (Tourist Road Train): During the high season, there’s a little tourist train that offers relaxing sightseeing tours around town. Since it runs on a seasonal schedule, we’re happy to provide you with the most up-to-date info once you arrive!

Adventure on your doorstep: Our area is a paradise for hiking and mountain biking, starting right from your front door.
